Man allegedly shoots brother over light bill
An intensive investigation is under way while a male suspect has been placed under investigation in connection with the murder of his brother in Spanish Town, St Catherine.
Dead is Andrew Campbell, 47-year-old auto body repairman of Martin Street in the capital.
Reports are that at about 12:30 p.m. yesterday, there was a disagreement between Campbell and his brother over a JPS bill.
It is further alleged that he attacked the suspect, who is a security guard, with a knife.
The suspect brandished a firearm and shots were fired hitting Campbell in the upper body. He collapsed and died from injuries received.
As news of Campbell's demise spread throughout the environs, scores of persons converged.
Meanwhile, the suspect has been interviewed while investigations continue by the St Catherine North Major Investigation Division.
