Thirty-five-year-old Shevour Francis, otherwise called 'Soulji,' a construction worker of Burnt district, Clarendon, has been charged with larceny from the dwelling following an incident in Hopewell, Hanover, between March 4, and July 5.

Reports from the Lucea police are that Francis and another man were contracted to work on a house. On July 17, the owner of the home, who resides overseas, returned to his property and discovered that the work he paid the men to do was incomplete and a DJI drone was missing. A report was made and an investigation launched. The drone was later recovered at a pawn shop in St James and positively identified by the owner.

Francis was later arrested and subsequently charged based on statements recorded implicating him. His court date is being finalised.
