Sergeant Patrick Brown, a member of the Manchester Division Operations Support Team, died after his vehicle collided along the Winston Jones Highway. The lawman, who was travelling with his twin children at the time of the crash, was rushed to the Mandeville Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

His children, both seriously injured, remain hospitalised and are receiving urgent medical care.
