Farmer electrocuted in Westmoreland

A farmer was fatally electrocuted on Sunday after being entangled in power lines in Bethel Town, Westmoreland.

Deceased is 38-year-old O'Dean Porter, of Marl Road in the parish.

The incident occurred along Ventura Road in Bethel Town.

Porter became entangled with power lines belonging to the Jamaica Public Service Company (JPS) and was electrocuted.

He later succumbed to his injuries.

The incident is being investigated by the police.
