13-y-o slams triple century

Thirteen year-old Jordan Johnson produced one of the most outstanding allround performances seen in modern local cricket at the Lucas Ground in Rollington Town on Tuesday.
Johnson hit a triple century, 325, then took six wickets for six runs to lead Lucas to a 563-run win over Kingston in the Kingston Wharves Under-15 cricket competition. It was the first ever triple century in the competition.
Lucas made 578 for five off 40 overs then dismissed Kingston for only 15. Michael Clarke (52) and Steven Wederburn (50) were the other leading scorers for Lucas. Matthew Johnson took two for 116 and Nicoli McKenzie two for 118.
The next round of matches will be played today at various venues across the island.
