Bank on KP Choice, Global Pursuit in Reggae 6

TAKE a sceptical approach to all but two races on Saturday’s Reggae 6, which opens with a $4.27 million single-winner bonus after last week’s $39,588 payout.
KP CHOICE, claimed as a winner on a $500,000 tag, July 18, is a free banker to open this Saturday’s Reggae 6 at four furlongs straight. KP CHOICE is drawn widest on the faster stands’ side with natural speed and the track bias in his favour.
Division Two of the $350,000 claiming sprint, the fifth race, should be won by Jason DaCosta’s down-in-class GLOBAL PURSUIT, who gets a mid-track draw to dominate with his early speed. 
Last week’s Reggae 6 was impacted by NOVIO, one of three suggested bankers, but lost the second event as a 3-5 favourite to stablemate PUROSANGUE at seven and a half furlongs.
A 5-1 chance, PUROSANGUE ran down NOVIO, who gave up a clear lead a furlong out, his stamina limitations exposed at seven and a half furlongs, showing up the three-year-old American colt as a run-on sprinter.
The longest shot on the Reggae 6, PUROSANGUE was STAR Sports’ Reggae 6 Snaps’ third choice, ‘Strong finisher. Galloped 6f in 1:13.0 out chute last Saturday’.
