Valiant to perform in Clarendon on December 10
Recording artistes Valiant, Inpha Reblitive, and instrumentalist Ashir Di Guitarist, are among several entertainers set to perform for families at the 'Spread Love This Christmas at Funfest' event.
The event, which is slated for December 10 at Middlesex Football Stadium in Clarendon, is the brainchild of the BIZcare Foundation led by Kmar Henry and Sheryl Bailey. The event is geared at raising funds to continue to provide for the foundation's 'Students in Need Programme' that has been assisting children with food and transportation to and from school weekly since July 2021.
The BIZcare Foundation hopes to expand its reach by assisting students in several communities in and around May Pen, Clarendon.
"This fundraiser plays an instrumental role in us creating opportunities for at-risk youths. We want to be able to equip them with the necessary resources to go to school and to learn," said Henry. The day's activities will include free amusement rides in addition to the performances.
Valiant, who hails from the Mannings Hill area of St Andrew, rose to stardom recently after going viral for the phrase, 'Kotch di hat, a lie', and has since managed to gain a large fan base with singles such as Dunce Cheque, St Mary, and Siance.
Spread Love This Christmas at Funfest will be hosted by up-and-coming comedians, Genadile and Ranno Saw-russ.
"This event will provide a wholesome family experience for all. We are even providing shuttle bus services to get these kids out to enjoy themselves," added Bailey.
