JCAA supports Child Month

In fulfilment of the pledge to support upcoming National Child Month activities in May, director general of the Jamaica Civil Aviation Authority (JCAA), Nari Williams-Singh, last week presented a sponsorship cheque valued at $500,000 to the minister of state in the Ministry of Education, Youth and Information, Floyd Green, and Dr Pauline Mullings, who chairs the National Child Month Committee.

The JCAA is preparing to host a Children's Month celebration, for the children and wards of JCAA employees, on the lawns of its headquarters at 4 Winchester Road, next month. This event will feature poster and essay competitions, treats and prizes, as the JCAA celebrates children, channel their curiosities, and display the charity of spirit on which all progressive endeavours are built and sustained.
