I'm sick and my daughters won't help me

Dear Pastor,

May the Lord bless you. I would like for you to investigate a very important subject for me. My name is Patrick Williamson. I have two daughters in the United States. They migrated a number of years ago. They have their own families. They have no interest in me.

The thing is, I am 63 years old. I have had a broken right ankle for many years, but it seems as if it has not healed. It has worms inside. I am still visiting the clinic weekly. My eyes are also failing me, too, because I have cataract. I called their phone numbers, but no reply. I wrote to them and still no reply, so I am very worried.

I am in need of help. I live alone. My lady died last year. I need medication, and I also have to visit the doctor at the chest hospital. It is very difficult for me at times. I can't work, only to move around the house daily.

If I lose my foot, how will I survive? At this time, I need funds and food. There are many other things that I need, but these are very important to me now. I love my children, but there is no help coming forth from them, so I have to turn to this way. Something should happen soon. Only my neighbours care. That is not good, so please, please look into my case for me. I took very good care of them when they were young, so it is my turn now.

Usually daughters do not abandon their fathers, but according to you, your daughters have not been in touch with you at all. Something is wrong Mr P., and I am sorry to hear that you are suffering. You can't demand anything from children, but if fathers treated their children well, they don't usually abandon them when they are in need.
