Dogs love to chill to reggae music, according to new research.

A study by The Scottish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SSPCA) has found that pooches love nothing more than laying back and listening to the sounds of the likes of Bob Marley.

Student Amy Bowman who is studying for a PhD at the college said: "The research, which took place at the Scottish SSPCA centre in Dumbarton clearly shows that music has an effect on a dog's behaviour.

"We were keen to explore the effect of playing different genres of music, and it was clear that the psychological and behavioural changes observed were maintained during the trial when the dogs were exposed to a variety of music."

As for customers, they are told to leave their phones on arrival and simply put on bathrobes, according to the Daily Mirror newspaper.

However, the owner of Fat's Family Restaurant, Kevin Fat, strongly denied that the diner in California has a pest problem, and said his employee needs to learn a valid lesson.

According to the Metro newspaper, he commented: "In our 14 years in Folsom, we have not experienced something like this before."

After an examination of the food place, an inspector added: "I think, with the weather, it's possible that one came in; maybe through the back door, and maybe wandered around the dining room and was chased back out."
