Wayde van Niekerk is one of the biggest names in international athletics but the 400m world record holder will be met by a group of athletes, eager to take his scalp as he steps down to the shorter 200m - an event he intends to compete in at this Summer's World Champs.

Rasheed Dwyer, the Commonwealth champion, is one of Jamaica's brightest prospects in the event - he didn't run 19.80 seconds by chance. Dwyer has real ability and despite his injury setbacks, will be particularly keen to show the world that he is back to his best with a big win, against a big name.

The pair have only met twice in the event, which each beating the other once.
