Paris Hilton thinks everyone should be treated like a "pink Starburst"
The 36-year-old businesswoman has taken to Twitter to encourage her followers to stand up for themselves, telling them they deserve to be looked upon like the sought-after, fruit-flavoured pink treat, rather than the less popular yellow version.
Writing on the social media site, Paris said: "Never let anyone treat you like a yellow starburst. You are a pink starburst. (sic)"
Paris has defied her critics in recent years, after turning her attention to DJing in 2012. At the time, her ambition was ridiculed, but Paris has since established herself as a credible performer, recently celebrating the five-year anniversary of her Foam & Diamonds party at Ibiza's world-famous Amnesia nightclub.
Reflecting on the transformation, Hilton said she started doing it seven years ago in Brazil.
"I just love feeling the vibe and the energy and the people, and I've been studying with some of the best people in the world. I really just learn the craft so much more. I just feel like every day I grow more and more," she said.
