A woman who was fed up of waiting for Mr Right decided to marry herself.
Laura Mesi, 40, arranged a wedding in Lissone, Italy, where she married herself in a one-off ceremony, because she had struggled to find love after 20 years, the newspaper reports.
The fitness instructor had reportedly always dreamed of having a fairy-tale wedding, and she made her own wishes come true as she donned a traditional wedding dress, had a group of bridesmaids by her side and a ring that she gave to herself on her special day.
She told the newspaper: "I told friends and family that if I had not found my soul-mate by my 40th birthday I would marry myself.
"If one day I find a man with whom I can plan a future, I'll be happy, but my happiness does not depend on him.
"This is my fairy-tale wedding only without a Price Charming."
Laura paid around PS8,700 for the ceremony, and she is able to divorce herself any time, but for the meantime she will be spending some time alone on her honeymoon in Egypt.
A new report has revealed traces of poop can be found in office kitchens.
A biologist named Dr Charles Gerba has claimed that around 90 per cent of mugs in office kitchens are covered in germs, and up to 20 per cent of the cups carry faecal matter, the News.com.au reports.
Dr Gerba who is a professor of environmental microbiology at University of Arizona believes the result is due to the dirty sponges used to clean the cutlery, which are rarely changed.
He said: "Coliform bacteria were present of 20 per cent of the coffee cups before and 100 per cent of the coffee cups after wiping with a dish cloth or sponge.
"No E. coli was found on cups prior to wiping. However, 20 per cent of coffee cups were positive for E. coli after wiping.
"The presence of unsanitary conditions in office kitchens and/or coffee preparation areas is of concern."
