Serena has honeymoon at private island
Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian have reportedly jetted off to a private island for their honeymoon.
The 36-year-old professional tennis player married her 34-year-old husband - with whom she has two-month-old daughter Alexis Olympia Jr - in a lavish ceremony, which took place in New Orleans on November 16, and the pair have since whisked themselves away to the Bahamian island of Kamalame Cay that is believed to cost $35,000 per week to stay in one of their top villas.
PEOPLE has reported that the sporting ace and the Reddit founder booked the nine-day luxury vacation, which requires guests to travel to the secluded hotspot via a helicopter, FlyTropic seaplane, or a boat, on the popular travel website Booking.com.
The secluded property, which is situated on a 96-acre site close to one of the world's largest barrier reefs in Andros, boasts 20-foot-high ceilings.
And each bedroom is believed to be furnished with ornaments from Bali and India, as well as a huge bath and a four-poster bed.
The villa does not only have a glamorous interior, but they each also have a 1,500-square-foot beachfront terrace that looks out on to the surrounding Atlantic Ocean.
And just a short walk away, the couple can soak up the rays on a private beach with a limited number of sunloungers for the resort's guests.
The site also has private chefs, butlers and personal trainers to cater for their guests for the entire 24 hours every day.
The 36-year-old Halo hitmaker joined the cast of the upcoming live-action remake of the Disney animated classic as Nala - the love interest of Simba, who will be voiced by Donald Glover.
However, a source told the New York Daily News newspaper that Sir Elton John - who provided the songs to the 1994 animation, including Circle of Life and Can You Feel The Love Tonight - has agreed to a deal reportedly worth $13million (PS9.7 million) to rework his hit compositions.
The source said: "Elton is working with Disney on this new Lion King project. They have reached an agreement to present some reworked versions of the classic hits and perhaps some new work. The songs will be thread into the storyline. It is unthinkable when you have BeyoncE involved not to have her sing some of those iconic hits - and that means huge sales to a new generation."
Elton, 70, won an Oscar for Best Original Song in 1995 for Can You Feel The Love Tonight, while other songs such as Hakuna Matata and Circle of Life were nominated.
The 47-year-old rapper - whose real name is Shawn Carter - has received a total of eight nods , giving him a total of 74 nominations and 21 wins.
The Encore hitmaker and the Superstition singer are joined by the late Sir Georg Solti, the award-winning Hungarian-born orchestral and operatic conductor to the title.
The trio come behind iconic producer Quincy Jones with 79 nods and Beatles legend Sir Paul McCartney's 74.
At the 2018 ceremony, Jay is up for the biggest accolades, including Album of The Year, Best Rap Album and Best Rap Performance, for his 13th studio LP 4.44, as well as, Record of The Year and Best Rap Song for The Story of OJ.
Following shortly behind are Kendrick Lamar and Bruno Mars with seven and six nominations, respectively.
The Loyalty hitmaker and the That's What I Like singer will go head-to-head with Jay for the biggest prize, Album of the Year, with their respective records Humble and 24K Magic up for the prize, along with Childish Gambino's Awaken, My Love! and Lorde's Melodrama.
