Father killed, child hurt in gun attack

Wayne 'Blacka' Wynter, a 42-year-old resident of Flankers, St James, was killed gangland in a brazen gun attack in the Mt. Carey district on Monday.

His six years old son Tashwayne Wynter was also injured in the attack, the police said.

According to police reports, at approximately 12:10 p.m., residents of Mt. Carey heard several loud explosions in their community and summoned the police. On the arrival of the police, the elder Wynter was found slumped over the steering wheel of the Nissan March motor he was driving.

He had multiple bullet wounds all over his body.

The injured child, who suffered bullet wounds to his head and his abdomen, is now hospitalised.
