Gun found in Granville

One man was arrested following the seizure of a Smith and Wesson 9mm pistol and 14 rounds of ammunition along Cunningham Drive, Granville, St. James on Boxing Day.

Reports from the Freeport Police are that about 7:50 p.m., a team of officers on patrol in the area, saw a group of men that running. After giving chase, one man was held and a search of his person was conducted; revealing the firearm and ammunition in his waistband.
