Jennifer Lawrence thinks she is going to be "devastatingly lonely" in the next few months.

The 27-year-old actress has dated a number of famous men, including actor Nicholas Hoult, Coldplay singer Chris Martin and most recently her Mother! director Darren Aronofsky, but admitted she is now in "single mode".

Although she is looking forward to some time on her own, the screen beauty is predicting she'll be missing having a guy in her life soon enough.

Speaking at the European premiere for her latest movie Red Sparrow at the Vue Cinema in London's Leicester Square, Jennifer said: "I am in the single mode where I am like, 'Cool, I can do whatever I want and I can be alone and watch terrible TV.' And then, of course, in a few months I will be devastatingly lonely and feel like I'm on some long waiting list. But I am not there yet."

Lawrence was catapulted to global fame by her role as Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games franchise and won the Best Actress Academy Award in 2012 for performance in Silver Linings Playbook, but despite being one of the most in-demand actresses around, she is adamant that her life is "pretty normal" and "very boring".

Janelle Monae believes people will soon be unable to distinguish between robots and humans.

The 32-year-old singer-and-actress can see technology advancing at a rapid rate, and she is sure there will come a point when society has to choose whether to 'oppress' androids or let them live harmoniously alongside humans.

Speaking to the new issue of Grazia magazine, she said: "Technology is moving at a faster and faster rate every year and, soon, we will no longer be able to differentiate between a robot speaking to us and a human. To me, the question is, are we going to try to oppress the android or are we going to figure out who we can all get along?"

And Janelle who plays an android in Autofac, an upcoming episode of sci-fi anthology series Electric Dreams believes robots in fiction are often a metaphor for those who are marginalised in the world.

She said: "Whether it be an immigrant, or a person in the LGBTQ community, African-Americans, Muslims, women we know that people in minority groups are often marginalised, and some are even killed, because of who they are or who they love or what god they choose to serve. I think the android is the new 'other', the new outcast."

Toni Braxton and Birdman are engaged. The 50-year-old singer has confirmed that she and the 49-year-old rapper are to marry after showing off her ring in a teaser clip for her TV show Braxton Family Values, in which she tells her sisters the pair will wed.

Speaking in the preview ahead of the new season, Toni says: "I have an announcement to make ... I'm engaged."

Speculation that the couple could be engaged has been rife since November when she was spotted wearing a huge sparkler on her engagement ring finger at the Soul Train Awards.

Toni and Birdman started dating in May 2016 and first appeared in public in June that year at the BET Awards, but he played down their relationship shortly afterwards.

He said: "We're just chillin."

The pair first met in 2002 while Toni was working on Birdman's hit, Baby You Can Do It, and her mother, Evelyn Braxton, has previously praised her future son-in-law.

Speaking in 2016, she said: "I think he is a nice man.

"I don't care what others say about him. He is a nice man. He is full of respect. Ever since I've been knowing that man, he's been phenomenal."
