Dwayne Johnson thanks emergency responders
Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson has thanked emergency services after "something scary" happened to his daughter.
The 45-year-old actor took to Instagram last Tuesday to send a heartfelt thank you message to all those involved in aiding him when his two-year-old daughter Jasmine whom he has with pregnant girlfriend, Lauren Hashian was involved in an incident which required an all-night trip to the emergency room.
Dwayne who also has daughter Simone, 16, with his ex-wife, Dany Garcia never explained what happened to his daughter, but said in the Instagram video: "This past Saturday night, something happened to me and my family that I would never want to happen to any of you, but, of course, emergencies do happen. We were up all night with something scary that happened with our little baby girl Jasmine, who is OK now. Thank God.
"But I just want to say thank you so much to everybody who was involved so caring and compassionate and responsive. The 911 operator who was on the phone with me, who was extremely calm walking me through some processes. The Los Angeles Fire Department first responders, UCLA medical team and staff, the doctors, the nurses, again everybody thank you so so much."
The Baywatch star then proceeded to send a message to other parents, as he urged them to stay calm in situations where their child may need urgent medical attention.
Katie Holmes enjoys boxing
Katie Holmes finds boxing "thrilling".
The 39-year-old actress has been in intensive training to star as an ex-Marine in 'The Doorman', and the brunette beauty has found throwing punches a great way to relieve the stress caused by "mundane" everyday life.
She said: "I was a five-pound weight person, and now I can do 15, 20. And I've been doing a lot of boxing, which I had never done before. It's thrilling. You can get out the stress of the day. I just go in there and think of all the mundane things that bother me. Traffic! I put off all my calls till after boxing, because it puts me in a much calmer place."
Katie wanted her workout regime to be "authentic" to her character, so was training for practical purposes, rather than thinking about her appearance.
No Spice Girls reunion this year
Victoria Beckham has reportedly pulled out of the Spice Girls reunion.
The '2 Become 1' hitmakers were thought to have put pen to paper for a number of reunion shows this year after confirming they were back together to work on unspecified projects, but it looks like their plans have been thrown into jeopardy as the 43-year-old fashion designer has been "quite vocal" about not wanting to reunite.
Mel C told The Sun newspaper: "Victoria has been quite vocal, it's really not something she wants to do at this time."
And the 44-year-old singer has ruled out the possibility that she, Mel B, Emma Bunton and Geri Horner may tour as a foursome because it has to be "all five."
She explained: "I think it has to be all five, so it's tricky. It's very early stages, we're not talking about new music or going out on the road together at this time."
And, even if they do reform, Mel doesn't think they'll be doing any shows this year.
When quizzed on rumours the Spice Girls would be taking to the stage at London Pride, she said: "That would be a very fitting place for the Spice Girls to reform, but unfortunately I don't think you'll be seeing the Spice Girls on stage this year."
It comes after the band's manager Simon Fuller hinted that Victoria was not on board.
When asked if Victoria has "signed off" for a tour, he replied: "It may be four, not five."
