Harvey Weinstein hits back

The under-fire movie executive has responded to Ashley Judd's defamation claims.

The 50-year-old actress has filed a case with the Los Angeles Superior Court where she claims she lost out on a part in The Lord of the Rings after she rejected Weinstein's sexual advances because he made "false and malicious statements he made regarding her professionalism".

But a statement, issued via Weinstein's representative, reads: "The most basic investigation of the facts will reveal that Mr Weinstein neither defamed Ms Judd nor ever interfered with Ms Judd's career, and instead not only championed her work, but also repeatedly approved her casting for two of his movies over the next decade."

In the filing, Judd accused Weinstein of "retaliating" after she turned down the producer.

Judd is claiming for damages, an order to prevent Weinstein from "engaging in further retaliatory conduct towards" her, an injunction against Weinstein to "cease engaging in unfair competition" and legal costs.

Iggy wants to help other women achieve

The 27-year-old rapper has taken to her Twitter account to voice her support for aspiring female stars, saying she's determined to see them "win" in life and is dedicated to ensuring they don't have to deal with any "bulls**t" from men.

Last month, Iggy took to Twitter to urge her followers to stop "automatically assuming" all relationships are "traditional and monogamous".

The blonde beauty - who was previously engaged to NBA star Nick Young, before she ended their relationship in acrimonious circumstances - asked people to reconsider their perceptions of love.

The Fancy hitmaker said: "I just wanna know, why is it we all automatically assume everyone in a relationship; is in a traditional/monogamous relationship? We should stop assuming that."

Justin Timberlake admits he once hooked up with a Spice Girl

The pop heartthrob and his *NSYNC bandmates - Chris Kirkpatrick, Lance Bass, JC Chasez and Joey Fatone - took part in a game of Never Have I Ever on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' on Tuesday.

During the game the guys had to respond either "I have" or "I have never" to the statement "never have I ever hooked up with a Spice Girl".

While four members turned their paddles to read "I have never", Timberlake hesitated to turn his to reveal his answer was "I have", prompting Ellen to place a paddle with those words on his knee forcing him to turn his own too.

However the 37-year-old singer did not tell which Spice Girl it was.
