A town in Alabama has finally been cleared of trains carrying human waste.

The small population - made up of 982 residents northwest of Birmingham - of Parrish were polluted with the foul stench coming from the stationary cars, which carried approximately 10 million pounds of poop from waste management facilities in New York.

Thankfully, it was halted due to an injunction concerning zoning laws in Jefferson county.

The Mayor of Parrish, Heather Hall, announced the news via his Facebook page.

He said: "I have wonderful news. Big Sky has ended their operation in Parrish. The final container was transported and emptied Tuesday (17.04.18) afternoon at 2 p.m. The containers that remain at the rail yard are empties awaiting transport back North and should be removed soon. I know this situation took longer than anyone, especially myself, had hoped it would take to come to an end. (sic)"

A library was forced to evacuate after a Durian fruit prompted gas leak fears.

Over 500 students and staff members were evacuated from the RMIT University in Australia on Saturday afternoon (28.04.18) so that 40 firefighters, including masked crews, could investigate the stench caused by the rotting fruit.

The fruit is native to south-east Asia and although the creamy interior is enjoyed as a dessert, the fruit in its raw form has been banned on Singapore's subways and in some hotels and public spaces around Asia because of its strong and unpleasant smell.

A mother was left horrified after giving her children penis-shaped pasta for dinner.

Rebecca Brett ,24, was shopping with her two young daughters when her Ava, three, asked for what she thought was "smiley face pasta".

She said: "Mum of the Year award most definitely does not go to me. I wandered into the market and Ava begged me for some 'smiley face' pasta she saw."

However, when she returned home to serve up the dish to her children, she realised her mistake and shared the hilarious moment on Facebook, and it has since gone viral.

She said: "Thought it looked a bit odd, re-looked at the bag and it's only bloody penis pasta. It was a hectic morning and I just bought it without thinking. When I saw Ava with the tiny penis in her hand, my heart sank, but I quickly burst into hysterical laughter at my blunder!"

A conspiracy theorist has claimed that Australia does not exist.

Facebook user Shelley Floryd has taken to the social networking platform to explain her theory, outlining her reasons why she doesn't believe the land Down Under to be real.

She wrote: "Australia does not exist. All things you call 'proof' are actually well fabricated lies and documents made by the leading governments of the world.

"Your Australian friends? They're all actors and computer generated personas, part of the plot to trick the world."

Although Shelley's post has already been removed, it has attracted significant attention online.
