Amber Rose feared she wouldn't feel "sexy anymore" after her breast reduction surgery.

The 34-year-old model underwent an operation in January to go from a 36H to a 36DDD cup size in a bid to ease her chronic back pain which was caused by her large breasts.

Now, Amber has opened up about why she went under the knife, and admits that she contemplated having the procedure for around three years because she was worried about the impact it would have her self-confidence.

In an interview with PEOPLE, she said: "I was scared that I wouldn't feel sexy anymore, but it got to the point where I literally was in pain. It was almost as if I had like a heavy backpack on my chest.

"They weren't implants or anything like that and so, my back was hurting me. There were times I would just walk and just stop and be like ... it would kill me. And, so, at that point, I was like, this is more of like a health issue, where I have to get this done."

"Not giving excuses for what I did (tweeted), but I've done weird stuff while on Ambien cracked eggs on the wall at 2 a.m., etc. [sic]"

Roseanne also cited Memorial Day a US holiday that recognises the sacrifices made by the country's armed forces as another contributory factor.

However, Roseanne conceded that there was no defence for her inflammatory tweet and has offered an apology to Jarrett.

The Sin City: A Dame to Kill For star decided to go into acting because she wanted to banish the stereotypes faced by women from Latina heritage.

She told the July issue of InStyle magazine: "What drove me was that I felt like I wasn't represented. There were a lot of girls out there who looked like me and weren't represented in pop culture, you know? When I started, I was labelled 'exotic.' That was it. It was like you had to be mysterious and sexual. Back in the day, if you were Latina, it was always a stereotype."

And while the 37-year-old actress who has Honor, nine; Haven, six; and Hayes, four months, with her husband Cash Warren loves to work hard, she recently admitted she is "missing moments" with her children because she's always working.
