There was 'no mercy' for Merciless as Gully Bop meted out a 'lyrical' onslaught on the artiste at the Boom TV-sponsored Ghetto Splash at Waterhouse Mini Stadium in Drewsland, St Andrew, last Tuesday.

Ninja Man and Gully Bop were having a 'friendly' lyrical clash on stage. Merciless decided to take lyrical jabs at Ninja Man and got pushed aside, lyrically. Gully Bop, who has been quiet on the local scene in recent time, was next on Merciless agenda but was left embarrassed, much to the delight of the crowd.

Gully Bop was ruthless as he showed no respect to the veteran artiste. Gully Bop, in his lyrical assault, accused Merciless of bestiality, evoking cheers from the crowd.

Rastafarians artistes, including Ras Bogle, Kabaka Pyramid, Bugle, Jay Lion and Junior Reid and his sons, gave credible performances.

Ding Dong and the Ravers Clavers gave everyone Gas and Chi Ching Ching went Way Up Stay Up. Popcaan had the crowd in a frenzy, but when he was joined by Aidonia they went wild. Ishawna was a hit with Restraining Order.

Earlier, Romaine Virgo led out the heavyweights. He was followed by Royal Flames, Nesbeth, Wayne Jay and Dexta Daps, who had the women screaming.
