Omari, Devin for Lasco Family Extravaganza!
Boxing Day is back to being a family day thanks to the Lasco Family Extravaganza.
The event was last staged on Easter Monday at Sabina Park and featured top acts such as Ding Dong and Omari. This time, the focus will be on Christmas, and it promises to be the family event of the season.
The event will be staged at the Hope Gardens from
10 a.m. - 7 p.m. The family event hosted by Party King will feature exciting rides complete with a water park, and for the first time since the event started in 2010, there will be a Santa's Village and paint ball. In addition to the many rides, patrons will enjoy performances from returning performer Omari, reggae princess Denyque, and the young and trendy Devin Di Dakta, who will step away from his dancehall act and showcase his
reggae skills for his young fans!
Once again, the organisers of the event have partnered with the Optimist Club of St Matthew's, which is based in Allman, Kingston, to assist with their annual
fundraising efforts to help develop the computer and homework centre at the St Matthew's Church.
The event's title sponsor, Lasco is delighted to be back on board once again as the main sponsor. According to
marketing manager, Catherine Goodall, "Lasco is excited to be back on board with this family focused event, which also gives us an opportunity to support a worthy charity. We were very pleased with the event in Easter and we are looking forward to celebrating and sharing the holidays with our consumers."
Event organiser Lloyd Wolfe, said: "We are still committed to providing good, wholesome family entertainment. That has always been our objective and it remains the same."
Admission is $300 for children under 12, $500 over 12, or ride all day for just $1,000. Tickets are available at Fashion Fever in York Plaza.
