The highly energetic and eccentric reggae artiste Culture Wise, who recently returned to Jamaica to promote his music locally, made an

indelible mark on his fans at the annual staging of Highgate Splash, held in St Mary recently.

The event was headlined by Romain Virgo and Gully Bop and featured a host of up-and-coming artistes. However, it was Culture Wise who got the first serious response from the patrons as he made his first utterances when performing his

single, A Slice A Di Cake.

As the crowd erupted into cheers and sheer pandemonium, he began to glide across the stage with his famous, fancy foot movements, coupled with his lyrical tenaciousness, to give a performance that can be described as simply awesome.

Culture Wise, born Linton Grant and who originates from Hamwalk, Linstead, St Catherine, has always been known as an exceptional entertainer who has the uncanny

ability to command attention from anyone within listening range of his performance.

The artiste recently completed a series of oversees performances in the USA, sharing the stage with international stars such as Patty LaBelle and BabyFace.

Culture Wise is currently undertaking an aggressive promotional campaign under the management of GoodLook Records, and will be making appearances at a number of events this holiday season and in early 2016, to include Galiday Bounce, Tarrus Riley and Friends, GT Taylor's Christmas Extravaganza and Rebel Salute, to name a few.
