NC Dread to release debut EP

South African dancehall artiste NC Dread is set to release his first studio EP, Hustle. The much anticipated EP has 15 tracks and features collaborations with African and Jamaican artistes.

NC Dread rose to prominence in 2014, when his single Dem Cah Stop Mi, produced by Jamaican producers Fras Twinz on the Mullet Bay rhythm, charted in Africa. The popularity of the song led to the artiste embarking on tours of Greece, UK and several African countries.

With the release of the EP, NC Dread is hoping to continue to ride the wave created by the single. Hustle the EP, features work from various producers from places like South Africa, Jamaica, Malawi, France, Tanzania, UK, Zimbabwe, Ghana, Germany and Nigeria.

The EP also features three tracks which have topped the South African charts. These tracks include Games, Dem Cah Stop Me, and Fire Burn Dem produced by FM Malawi 101. The artiste also collaborated with veteran dancehall artistes Elephant Man and Chico. NC Dread has also been nominated in the category Artist of The Year, and Song of the Year for a popular award show based in South Africa.
