Kafinal, Yellowman, Ken Boothe collab
Jamaica-born Canada-based entertainer Kafinal, has collaborated with veteran King of the dancehall Yellowman and singer Ken Boothe. Their single, Crying Out for Love was produced by the Sing N Act Entertainment label.
"It is my way to connect and cross generations with great voices and legendary musicians and show love strength and unity through this collaboration," said Kafinal, born Jeffery Williams, in explaining why he recorded with the music veterans.
The song is already gaining momentum on FM radio and the feedback has been positive from fans.
While there are plans to shoot a music video, Kafinal continues to promote the song on social media in Jamaica and Canada.
Yellowman's career dates back to the late 1970s, while Boothe has been doing music professionally since the 1960s. This is their first collaboration.
Kafinal's most recent hit Nuh Lock off Di Dance produced by Paul 'Computer' Henton, is number three on the Rebelvibez Reggae chart in Canada. It is also charting on several reggae charts worldwide including the Foundation Network Reggae Top 30, where it holds position number seven.
