B&D/Seabest Seafood Pop Up for today

Due to the overwhelming response to the B&D/SeaBest Pop Up Kitchen last month, the company has decided to host another, today at 12:30 p.m. at its facility at 1 Port Royal Street, downtown Kingston.

In fact, a pop up kitchen will be held every Friday for the period of Lent and ending the week after Easter.

During the course of the day consumers can enjoy shrimp pasta or a lobster roll for as low as $500 or indulge in fried fish served with bammy and festival for $1,000. Chefs will be on location using products under the SeaBest brand sold exclusively by B&D Trawling.

The company last year sealed the deal with Beaver Street Fisheries allowing them to solely process and package products under the SeaBest brand in Jamaica. This allowed B&D Trawling to enter the wholesale and retail fish industry enabling it to supply the market with Basa, Shrimp, Clams and Scallops and more.

Roderick Francis, CEO of B&D Trawling, encourages consumers to visit the Pop Up Kitchen. "It not only serves as a mean of showcasing to the public what we offer but we get the satisfaction of watching our consumers enjoy our products. We will also be disclosing the recipe for the meals that will be prepared on our social media pages," Francis said.
