Mello Vibes tonight

The oldies train, featuring the best in music from the '70s, '80s and '90s, stops at the new Mas Camp with Colbeck Mello Vibes today.

Powered by its new partner, J Wray and Nephew Limited's Jamaica-made Colbeck Ginger Wine, the event promises to take patrons on a trip down memory lane with strong musical vibes, sweet and spicy cocktails and smooth dance moves, under the theme, ' Girls Town'.

Promoter Gyete Gharty explained the concept: "Girls Town was actually a popular song by Super Cat in the '90s, so we selected this as the theme in celebration of our female patrons".


The decision for Colbeck Ginger Wine to sponsor the event could not be more in line with the brand, according to J. Wray and Nephew Limited's marketing manager, fortified wines and liqueurs, Omar Palmer. "Mello Vibes has been a successful event since its inception 10 years ago. Colbeck Ginger wine is a Jamaican product and inspires feelings of nostalgia and 'coming back home', much like this event. We are excited to partner with what has become a staple event for Jamaicans, and patrons can expect a smooth pairing of Colbeck Ginger Wine and Mello Vibes."

Oldies enthusiasts will be treated to musical selections from DJ Marvin and Fame 95 FMs DJ Nicco. Gates open at 10 p.m. with women paying $500 before 11 p.m. Other patrons will pay $800, presold, or $1,000 at the gate.
