D'Yani drops new single Feb. 26
Hot new act D'Yani is gearing up to release his second single, 'Give away My Love', at the end of the month.
The song is set for release on February 26 on iTunes and all other platforms as the talented singer capitalises on the success of his debut single, Sad Story, that generated more than 50,000 streams on Soundcloud since its release late last year.
Give away My Love was produced by Kevy Bryan of Kevstar Records and is a song about heartbreak.
"It's basically giving a basic detail of what I have been through in my relationship at a young age," said D'Yani, who has quickly become a hot ticket on the local circuit under the guidance of manager Shantall Hill.
Since his debut performance at the Blue Mountain Music Festival last year, D'Yani performed at Sting, and has been on the cover of the Gleaner's Flair magazine. He has also been steadily building a strong base of female fans attracted to his physical appearance and voice.
"It's been a humbling and immense experience. I am endlessly grateful for the opportunity, endlessly filled with joy just to be in such a situation, and I am making use of it," said the recent graduate of the Caribbean Maritime Institute, who has put his music first for the time being. "We are making small strides, but we are making strides nonetheless."
A viral video of his performance at Sting has opened doors for the singer, who declares he is an exponent of all genres, not just reggae and dancehall. Hill disclosed that D'Yani is currently putting the finishing touches on a track for German producer Silly Walks, who produced Smile Jamaica for Chronixx, and he recently travelled to Florida to work on another track with a producer there.
