Sanchez for Live In Concert

February 12, 2016

The Live in Concert reggae event series underway in Negril, Westmoreland, will be welcoming international reggae artiste Sanchez to perform on Tuesday, February 23 at Jamaica Tamboo on Norman Manley Boulevard.

The event will also feature performances from Papa D and Canadian singer Chelsea Stewart. The series, which is slated to run throughout the 2015/2016 winter tourist season, is being promoted by King of Kings Promotion, promoters of the annual Western Consciousness.

The promoter's objective is to deliver top-tier stage productions with performances from local and international veterans and current reggae and dancehall sensations in a way that affords the artiste an uninterrupted, intimate setting to deliver a comprehensive set.

Sanchez, notably one of Jamaica's most revered veteran reggae singers and who got rave reviews from his 2016 Rebel Salute performance in St Ann, is expected to deliver his usual serenade of classic hits, ncluding Neva Dis the Man, Here I Am, and many more.

"The concept behind the series is to showcase to our visiting and local reggae enthusiasts authentic reggae music from the pioneers as well as today's industry trailblazers, thus demonstrating the evolution of reggae. This concept has been widely received and has garnered us encouraging feedback from both the artistes and patrons thus far," Worrel King of Kings of Kings Promotion said.
