Wray Rum Buck… It starts Sunday
The first of seven 'Wray Rum Buck ... It' parties, is the 'Cupid Edition' to be held at Oneil's Place in Kingston on the eve of Valentine's Day, tomorrow between 10 p.m. and 3 a.m. Wray & Nephew White Overproof Rum is on board once more for the 2016 'Wray Rum Buck ... It' party series.
Pietro Gramegna, marketing manager for White Spirits at J Wray & Nephew Limited, said the company has stayed with the party series for 2016 because of the fruitful partnership with the promoters, and the good reputation built in its five-year history:
"'Wray Rum Buck ... It' has proven itself to be a high-energy party experience which patrons look forward to. The Wray Rum brand embodies the true Jamaican spirit and we're proud to be on board for this edition where patrons get to enjoy a phenomenal musical selection and a great vibe, while celebrating the spirit of love," he said.
'Wray Rum Buck ... It - Cupid Edition' is free for everyone before midnight, with an entry charge of $500 after. Q deals on Wray & Nephew White Overproof Rum are on offer where patrons can purchase three flasks for only J$1,500.
Steve Logan, promoter of the event, said this edition of 'Wray Rum Buck ... It' will have an emphasis on lovers, as the event will ring in Valentine's Day at midnight. All ladies will be given a rose upon entry and will be treated like royalty during the night. The DJs for the night, ZJ Dymond, Team Shella, DJ Banka & Siddo and DJ Calico, will create a lovers' atmosphere.
"Wray Rum Buck ... It' is all about value for money. Pocket-wise, it is for everyone. It will be high-energy and, as always, we have a great entertainment package lined up for our patrons," Logan said.
