The Jungle Fyah Entertainment Complex in Portmore, St Catherine, was transformed into a musical inferno on recently.

It was the weekly Thursday Seafood and Entertainment Fiesta. The occasion is one that saw music being part of the festivities for patrons while they dined. Each Thursday, they are entertained by various artistes who showcase their talents.

On this night, it was an English-based band called Ska Brassika that cemented themselves musically.

The eight-man band came, saw, and duly made an indelible mark through a memorable delivery.

The entertainers got the musical energy at the venue ablaze with a fever-pitched set.

The band delivered hits from the Ska era including Mule Train, Monkey Man, The Train Is Coming and a host of others to melodious perfection. The set saw many in attendance endorsing the effort.

"These men sound like they are the original singers of the songs. They are taking local music to us. It is all very good," Andrea Bennett, a patron, said.

Proprietor of Jungle Fyah, Franklin Mason, said that the event took the musical package at Jungle Fyah to an all-time high.

"I really enjoyed their performance as we are the first to hear from them. It means Jungle Fyah is out to conquer entertainment in Portmore," Mason said.
