Big Bang releases 'Bad Yawdi' video
Dancehall artiste Big Bang, aka YoungWildApachie, recently released a video for his hit-bound single, 'Bad Yawdi'. The video was released on a number of digital formats.
The video and song, is produced by Unique Themusickidd, is on YouTube, HypeTV, Yard Hype, Crush Road and Dancehall & Reggae TV.
The song addresses thugs in Jamaica, who have the "city lock", basically characters that 'run the streets red' locally and abroad.
"I'm pleased to have completed the video for my latest project and I must say thanks to all who have worked on the video. My fans can expect the usual lyrical content and high-quality work from this artiste," Big Bang told THE WEEKEND STAR.
The hard-working artiste said the video was directed and shot by GLS Films. Areas where scenes from the video was shot included Three Miles, Black Roses Corner, Cross Roads and Big Bang's home community of Cockburn Pen, all in St Andrew.
Big Bang has been in the music industry from a tender age. He was introduced to the craft by his uncle, an artiste who went by the name Black Sheep.
"My Uncle took me along whenever he went to the studio, and from there I had a love for the art," he said.
The artiste shot to popularity a few years ago with the street hit, Life Goes On. He attended Tarrant Primary and St Thomas Technical High school.
Life Goes On, done for G3 Music, was dedicated to his friends who have passed on.
