Lanmine set to explode at BritJam
Well, at least he doesn't have to go through those damned airport metal detectors again.
Dancehall artiste Lanmine has been confirmed to perform during this year's popular BritJam series of shows in Montego Bay, St James. He will be performing tomorrow during the all-white event 'Glamorous All White'.
"He will be performing on the Saturday night, and he is looking forward to it. There is a lot of interest in the artiste right now because of his breakout single," Stashment, Lanmine's manager and chief executive officer of Stashment Records said.
BritJam is the number one international spring break event in the world. Infusing British and American culture with Jamaican culture and turning into a week of unbelievable fun. The event is expected to bring thousands of participants from the USA, United Kingdom, Europe, and the Caribbean.
Born Shorvon Mc'Kinson, the dancehall recording artiste is one for the future. A native of the Riverton City community, Lanmine is no stranger to struggles; having worked hard to hone his writing, recording and performance skills, which have earned him the respect of many musical heavyweights in the local industry.
Lanmine vaulted into the public spotlight last month when stories online revealed he had over 50 new piercings - in his face.
Currently signed to Stashment Production, Lanmine has been steady promoting his breakout video and single Seven Days A Week, which is in regular radio rotation, and was also featured on FI WI Choice Top Ten Chart Show as the song of the week.
Other tracks for the upcoming talent include Japanese Wine and Red Light, both mixed by popular Alliance production powerhouse PayDay Music and Say We Haffi Mek It.
Lanmine's current single, Touch Yu Hard, was released three weeks ago and has generated thousands of views on Facebook and YouTube.
