Franko Brian on a musical mission
Reggae artiste Franko Brian is on a musical mission.
"When I was growing up, I wanted to be a doctor, but as I grew older I, realised that music is my true calling. I believe that Jah has blessed me with my talent to make a difference in this world. I'm not doing music for financial gains or fame, I'm on a spiritual mission; I want to uplift people with my music," said the artiste.
The St Mary-born singjay whose real name is Frank Thomas is confident that his music will make a positive impact on the international reggae scene.
"The type of music that I do is geared towards an international audience. I can deejay and do the hardcore dancehall stuff, as you will hear on songs like Mamacita, but when you listen songs such as Say What You Wanna and Better Must Come, you get more of an international reggae vibe on those songs," the hard-working artiste said.
Franko Brian is promoting his debut album, Reality Speaks. The album, that was produced by the US-based record label Tate Music Group, was released on the 16th of April, 2013.
The 10-track album features songs such as Pure Love, Mr User, Better Must Come, Christman and Money Friend.
Franko Brian said Reality Speaks is available on iTunes and all other leading online music stores.
