Carnival Pon Di Road hits MoBay tonight

Tonight, Montego Bay, St James, will play mas to thousands of revellers when Digicel and Appleton Special's Carnival Pon Di Road stops at Old Hospital on Bottom Road.

As the street carnival makes its way across the island, Montego Bay can expect high energy and great entertainment from resident hosts ZJ Sparks, 'Fluffy Diva' Miss Kitty and 'Party Animal' Kurt Riley.

Appleton Special and Digicel have much in store for Montegonians when they come out for the powder party, including jungle-inspired body paint, giveaways and Special bundle deals - Two 200ml (Qs) of Appleton Special for only J$1,000 with J$100 Digicel credit free and an Appleton Special tumbler.

Partygoers who come out this Friday are also in for much-needed fun and stress relief, said ZJ Sparks.

"The series has been really, really well received. People just want to have fun and have some form of stress relief, and that's exactly what Carnival Pon Di Road provides.

There are certain products in Jamaica that people are loyal to, and Appleton Special and Digicel are some of those. So when they come together and give back, in this way, that provides this level of free excitement, stress relief and fun. You can't go wrong," she said.

Patrons are being encouraged to come out early for tonight's staging. The vividly explosive powder party starts at 5 p,m. Patrons must be 18 years or older to enter the event.
