With the highly anticipated Blues on the Greens concert being a free event, it was expected that the turnout would have been huge. However, the crowd that gathered inside the Emancipation Park in New Kingston last night was nothing short of massive.

Thousands of patrons turned up at the venue, even as early as 3 p.m., hoping to witness R&B sensation Fantasia in action.

Jesse Royal and Romain Virgo opened the night, with Romain giving a soulful performance, while Jesse provided roots reggae.

Those strong performances were followed by the woman of the night, Fantasia. She promised to give her all and that is exactly what she did. Performing hits such Free Yourself and When I See You, the American Idol winner took the audience on a musical journey. Her vocals were on point and fans were not disappointed with her set.
