Deejay Xyclone has teamed with New York, USA-based singer Star Cole for the cheaters' anthem titled 'Tell The Truth'.

The song, which explores the topic of infidelity, was produced by New York-based producer Drizzy.

Xyclone said that he had been toying with the idea for the song for over seven years.

"I've had this idea for more than seven years now. I was just waiting for the right beat. So we brought in Star Cole, who is based in New York, and the song worked like magic," said Xyclone.

Star Cole, who is originally from Clarendon, has worked with producers such as Teetimus. The late producer Phillip Smart had been her mentor for many years until he passed away. She has also done work with Bryan Morris from HC and F studio in Freeport, Long Island.

A video for Tell The Truth was recently directed by Deus 'Troublesum' Beni. It premiered on popular hip-hop site worldstarhiphop.com and received more than 60,000 views in 24 hours.

Tell The Truth is reportedly enjoying good rotation on radio stations stateside, including Hot 97 in New York, 99 Jamz in Miami and WKYS in Washington.

"The song is hot in the streets of Jamaica and on every major dancehall party scene in America. It is the hottest new song in dancehall right now straight out of America," said Xyclone.
