Supreme Ventures Limited (SVL) will be hosting the fourth annual staging of its Bun and Cheese Easter Egg Hunt on the lawns of Hope Zoo at Hope Gardens, St Andrew, on Easter Monday at 9 a.m.

This year, the company will be treating 242 children between the ages of seven and 14 from various children's homes across the Corporate Area.

According to Brian George, president and CEO of SVL, the company embarked on this journey three years ago and has not looked back since.

"It is a very rewarding feeling when we can give back to the community through small gestures such as this. Getting our team members to partake in the fun and excitement and seeing the smiles on the faces of the children is just a fulfilling experience for us," said George.

The day's activities will begin with the collection of the wards from their homes and providing them with transport to Hope Zoo for a day of fun, games, food, and fond memories, then returning them safely after all festivities.

The event will take the form of a fun day, which will include a tour of the zoo, Easter egg hunt, various rides and entertainment throughout the day.

The initiative is to expose these children to the fun and educational experience of Hope Gardens, as well as the thrill of an Easter egg hunt. The team members from Supreme Ventures and technology provider, GTech, will give of their time to assist with this experience and the safety of the children while sharing in the spirit of Easter.

In addition, the company is the first corporate entity in Jamaica to conceptualise and execute a very successful Easter egg hunt. Since the inception, more than 1200 children from various homes have benefited from this corporate volunteer effort.
