Fast-rising singjay Sharp is gearing up for a successful 2016, given the positive responses to his latest studio efforts 'Hangover' and 'You and I'.

"Hangover is a feel-good song that promotes enjoying yourself partying in a mindful and responsible manner. You and I, on the other hand, is a chemistry or vibe between two lovers. The songs have quickly gained traction and are now enjoying heavy rotation in Florida, Jamaica, Atlanta, New York, and Connecticut. Selectors as far as Africa such as DJ Ferggy can't stop playing the songs," said Sharp, born Oketto Chambers.

Exploding on to the music scene with the smash hit Werk It, which featured Voicemail, Sharp's musical journey has not been easy. However, the artiste, who was born in Jamaica but raised in the United States, was never one to shy away from being unique.

Hangover is produced by Ajan of Hit City, while You and I, featuring Malika Kmari, was produced by Cleveland Brixton Scott.

Sharp will release an EP titled Underrated, on the BBK Entertainment label in June.

"My aim is to bring a more diverse sound with great lyrical content so my fans can enjoy," he said.
