Digicel Rising Star finalist 2014 Papito has dropped a new single, Smile, on the Reggae Rock rhythm.

The rhythm is the track for Romain Virgo's Stick By You, Christopher Martin's Sweet, Sweet Love, Lutan Fyah's Feel Like Skanking and the copyright owner Busy Signal's Raggae Makes You Rock.

Published in the middle of 2015, the songs on the rhythm have been played extensively in dancehall and on the airwaves.

With the release of Smile, new life is being breathed into the rhythm. "The song is being played on SunCity in Jamaica, by Commander B of Vibes FM, London's biggest reggae radio station, and by Carrie Mullings on her show Rebel Vibes on Vibes105 FM out of Canada," Papito pointed out.

The song is also being played by a number of radio stations in Florida and by one of Zimbabwe biggest radio station ZiFM. "These are not web radios but traditional radio stations, this shows the legitimacy of my music," the singer/songwriter said. "The song is a feel good one which talks about the beauty of a woman's smile. It encourages you to smile regardless of the situation and for any reason."

Papito was introduced to Jamaica when he entered Digicel's Rising Star.

Since then he released the cover Not The Only One, which opened a number of opportunities for him as it was played on a number of radio stations in Europe.

During his musical journey, Papito has made international appearances as a singer/performer and is working to continue providing music for his national and international supporters. Papito is currently performing on the university circuit and at corporate functions.
