It's been a long time coming, but Sledge is ready for his big break.

The St Catherine-born singer has been honing his craft for over a decade and after many years, of hard work, things are finally looking up.

Sledge recently signed a management and recording contract with New York-based artiste managers Ajay Loaknauth of Ackee and Dumpling LLC and Marlon Wright of Tun It UpRadio.com.

"I've been out there in the wilderness for a while, but my time was not wasted. I used it wisely to work on my craft as a singer and musician. I give thanks to Jah for linking me with the right people to handle my career. Now that I am working with a professional management team, I am ready to spread my message across the world," said Sledge.

The easy going Rastafarian is promoting his debut single, You're Still My Love, which was released a week ago by Ackee and Dumpling LLC.

Sledge is busy in the studios working on several new songs for release later this year.
