Tropical Flava is the name of the newest rhythm project from Black Shadow Records. The beat features songs from the likes of Beenie Man, Bling Dawg, Future Fambo, Mad Cobra, Mr Vegas, RDX and Mr G, among others.

Producer Troyton Rami said the feedback to the project has been encouraging. "I came up with 'Tropical Flava' because I was trying to find a beat that could crossover the lanes between Jamaica and America. The feedback, so far, has been very positive," said Rami.

Black Shadow Records is known for its genre-fusion beats. In 2002 the label scored a Billboard chart hit with its production of Sean Paul's Gimmie Di Light. Other hits from the Florida-based label include Press Trigga, by Mad Cobra; Pump Up Har, by Sizzla; and Toy Friend, by Beenie Man.

The songs on the 'Tropical Flava' rhythm include Love Yuh Mumma, by Quick Cook and Shano; We are Pro, by Beenie Man; Look It, by Bling Dawg; Sex Tape, by Future Fambo; Wah Nuh Hail, by Mad Cobra; MVP, by Mr Vegas; In the Party, by RDX; and What Are You Waiting For by Mr G.

Black Shadow's projects to date include the 'Good Energy', 'Get Mad Now' and the 'Surprise' rhythms.

Among the label's hits are Nuh Back Down, by Mad Cobra; Jamaica, by Elephant Man; and Buju Banton's Crazy Talk.
