Konsequence Muzik scores with True Colours
Rising music production entity Konsequence Muzik is riding high with the song True Colours by reggae artiste Jahmiel.
The label has scored its first number one single locally as True Colours has taken pole positions on local charts. It is currently charting outside of Jamaica on ethnic charts in the US and in parts of Europe.
Jahmiel, who has to date recorded four songs for the label, was elated about the success of the song.
"I feel good to know that the song is number one. I am elated to just see how much the music has reached the people. It's a great feeling to continue on the path," he said. 'It's always a great vibe working with Konsequence Muzik and we have more work to be done."
The label debuted in 2013 with the Kurfew rhythm and hasn't looked back since. The label prides itself on offering a difference and diversity in its productions.
Among the artistes who have worked with the label since its inception are Konshens, Gyptian, Future Fambo, Beenie Man, Lady Saw, I-Octane, Khago, Mavado and New Kidz, among others.
Konsequence Muzik's latest project is the Life to Live rhythm released on April 1.
