Freddie McGregor stays grounded with 'True To My Roots'
After over 50 years in the business, Freddie McGregor continues to sail with great dexterity into the sea of the global music industry with his signature sound. Having been a soundtrack to countless new romances and other life experiences, Freddie still spends time writing lyrics with varied impacts. Despite a busy performance schedule, he still finds the time to produce good music, like his latest single, True To My Roots.
True To My Roots is the second single to be dropped by the man, who has earned the moniker - 'Di Captain', and follows a successful run of the single What You Gonna Do, which entered 2016 at the top of the New York and South Florida charts and received heavy rotation in the United Kingdom. What You Gonna Do is also featured on VP Records latest Strictly the Best album.
True to my Roots is on the 'Heavenless' rhythm and is currently available on iTunes. It is also a teaser to a 15-track album which is to be released in Japan in June, followed by official releases in Europe and North America.
