Mineral Boss Records drops new rhythm

Emerging music label Mineral Boss Records (MBR) has a new project called the Money Boss rhythm, which features some of the biggest names in dancehall music as well as up-and-coming artistes.

The rhythm is due for official release on iTunes later this month; however, a few tracks, including those from Corey MBR Boss, Mavado, and I-Octane, have already been released.

Songs featured on the rhythm are Progress by Mavado; Vision by Corey MBR Boss; Nuh Shaky Link by I-Octane; Give a Thanks by Teflon; Things Take Time by Jahmiel; Crosses People by Vershon; Mad Ova You by Delly Ranks; Done and Dusted by MBR recording artiste Nigma; Put Jah First by Singer J; Journey Goes On by Bryka; and Dem Surprise Me by 3-Star.

The rhythm is already gaining traction on radio locally. A few more surprise artistes will be added to the project.


Based in Caymanas Bay, St Catherine, MBR is headed by Cleon and Tawanna Jones. The label prides itself on producing positive music and exposing creative talent, especially artistes in and around its community.

Previous releases from Mineral Boss Records include the Party Paint and River Bed rhythms.

Artistes the label has worked with are QQ, Chuck Fenda, Anthony Cruz, Richie Spice, and Radijah, among others.
