Jah Lex looks forward to summer 2016
Canadian reggae star Jah Lex is looking forward to a
spectacular summer. The Montreal-born Rastafarian singjay who is known for songs such as Conquering Lion and Bobo Man A Chant featuring Capleton and Selaska, is currently preparing for a number of performances.
His schedule includes
upcoming appearances in Canada, Europe, and Africa.
"I'm preparing for a busy
summer this year. First, I will be doing some shows in Canada. After that, I will leave to tour Europe and Africa with my band, the IRIE Members Band," he said.
Jah Lex also owns an events company called Mystic Mountain Productions. Through this
company, he has staged several notable reggae concerts and
festivals in Quebec and Ontario over the past decade.
"My annual Reggae Bash Festival is scheduled to take place in Quebec from August 19 to the 20. This will be our 11th staging. The line-up for this year's festival will include Sugar Roy and Conrad Crystal, Hawkeye, Angele Smith, Glen Ricks and Dandexx," said Jah Lex.
Jah Lex is also working on his sophomore album, which is scheduled to be released later this. The album will feature
collaborations with Lutan Fyah, Mikey General, Warrior King, Conrad Crystal and Sugar Roy.
