Upcoming reggae singer Dayjah is looking forward to her big break in the music business.

The former Goshen All-Age School student is getting ready to release her debut single titled Woman.

The song, which was produced by St Elizabeth-based producer Dudley 'Basie' Eulitts, is slated to be released next month on his Will Powa Productions imprint.

"I am very happy that my first single is finally coming out. It has a very uplifting and Inspiring message. I'm confident that it will do well," said the artiste.

Cognisant of the fact that it takes hard work and dedication to succeed in the music business Dayjah is always writing and recording new songs.

"I've been singing since I was a little girl. I recorded my first song when I was 13. I know it's not easy to break into the music business, but I am determined to make it, and I am working to achieve my goals," she said.

Dayjah is currently working on a number of projects, including an EP that is slated to be released later this year.

The easy-going singer, christened Rose-Marie Robinson, was born and raised in Brae's River, St Elizabeth.
