Tasha T on a musical high
Multi-award winning reggae artiste, Tasha T, is a firm believer in the importance of education.
The hard-working entertainer, who is an ambassador for the Read Across Jamaica Foundation, was on the road to promote reading literacy in the US recently, by participating in reading activities with the children at Marcus Garvey Elementary School in California and the Montgomery County Library 'Girls Scout' in Maryland.
"Education is a vital part of the development process for the youth. I feel blessed that I am able to participate in this process and am looking forward to continue to aid in the development of young minds," said Tasha T.
Tasha T is promoting a brand new single titled Fire In Me on the Forever Music label.
Fire In Me features melodic vocal arrangements, which blends well with the slow mid-tempo Dub in Town rhythm. This brings out the true essence of the song as Tasha T wails, "You can't quench this fire in me".
Not only has she received a great reception for Fire In Me, but she continues to keep people moving with the Ralston Barrett-produced, Beautiful World on the Village Jam rhythm.
Tasha T is scheduled to perform at the all-female Reggae Divas concert 'Celebrating Women in Reggae', which will take place at the Jamaican Canadian Association in Toronto tomorrow.
This year is looking bright for Tasha T, as she looks to add some dates for her promotional tour throughout Europe and the UK. Fans can follow Tasha T on Facebook at 'Tasha T Music Official', on Twitter: @TashaTashaT'or www.TashaTMusic.com.
