Sade Serena celebrates Jerk Sauce
United States-based artiste Sade Serena celebrated the release of her EP, Jerk Sauce, with fans in South Florida recently.
The EP peaked at number 23 on Billboard.com and topped South Atlantic Heatseekers Chart at number one while steadily climbing the R&B chart.
Jerk Sauce boasts four carefully constructed tracks, including a remix with Shaggy for her single, Dum, which has been enjoying heavy rotation on radio in South Florida, Jamaica and the Caribbean.
Fans were seen in a frenzy as Sade Serena performed all of the EP’s tracks to a packed Blue Martini venue in Boca Raton. She opened with an ode to the late Prince with Purple Rain and later performed the tracks which includes Whatever You Want, Daylight, Stray and Dum.
With that husky, sensual Caribbean flare and sound, fans have already been comparing Sade Serena to Bajan pop star Rihanna. Although flattered by the comparison, Sade Serena wants to be known for her own signature style and sound.
Jerk Sauce is not only setting fire to Sade Serena’s career in Florida, but on a global scale as well. While embracing her Jamaican roots, Sade says she is here to stay for the long run.
